Hejsan alla som... int läser det..
No joo, mun ruotsin taidot on ehkä vähän ruosteessa, mutta kyllä tää suomenruotsi tarttuu.
Mutta joo, whatever that was all about (kuten eräs arvoisa englannin opettajistamme sanoisi...).
Lähinnä nyt on viikon sana VYÖKOE! BELT TEST!

I like! Kihon katakin alkaa pikkuhiljaa jo menemään läpi toisellekkin puolelle, vaikka välillä tökkii kyllä kun pitää miettiä tota peilikuvaksi kääntämistä.
Pitää kirjotella joskus vähän pidemmältä. Mutta nyt ei ole energiaa.

Perkele!
Joooo.. Että sellasta paskaa.. I'd better switch to English again. It's far less suitable for cursing than Finnish.. :D
So. The reason for that was really just snow. There's nothing wrong with snow. I love it - to an extend. I woke up and left for school. I knew there would be more snow but more than 30cm a night is enough for one day. Ecpecially if no-one hasn't cleaned the roads.. Well.. no can do.. At least the exchange students got what they wanted! :D
Eventyally the day turned out ok. And hopefully it's going to become even better : ) We should have mat techniques in karate and I can't wait!!!! It's been faaaar too long since I've been able to wrestle with anyone. Well exept with my big brother.. and we were a bit drunk so I could kick his arse.. ; ) (He's got a yellow belt in judo and an orange in karate and he's more fit so we are pretty even mostly)
Hopefully I can train with different people this time... : ) Looking forward to that!

Torstaiii!
A day off from school. I've been using my time extremely productively and been mainly cooking cheap student food (Pea-soup) and surfing online.
I had a great day yesterday; The Academic Writing -course groups started and it's looking good! I ended up in a very small group luckily - only 6 people - so I'm a bit more relaxed. I don't really like huge groups. Apparently I'm a bit shy I quess... : ) Tomorrow at eight another beginning course: Spoken english.. A new teacher also.. feeling a bit excited ;)
In the evening then it was training time again! : )) The "topic" was Kihon oyo jutsu, which basically means pair-applications of the Kihon kata's techniques. The warm up was done with ukemi drills, which I love (as an sort of ex-judoka) I still can't make the difference between the two rolling ukemis though and the legs are always killing me since it took me a long time to get them right the 'judo-way' and now I should unlearn that! :D Again I had a funny incident when in one of the applications the opponent takes a hold on your gi and then you need to perfom the technique. Well... I didn't really think and just took a normal judo-hold on her jacket as a natural reaction to her hold on my gi x) She just watched me like "What the hell....." And it definately wasn't the first time I did some goofy judo-stuff in karate! And it for sure won't be the last time...

This evening it's going to be Kihon kata :) Which is a brain-killer for me...like all those movement series. My memory is good - but extremely short... and the mirrors are really disturbing. I can't really get why all the other girls there are so exited every time we do kata. Yeah.. It looks cool and it's really good way to learn and so on but I find all the applications just as intresting or even more! Maybe I haven't watched enough Karate kid.. x) well, At leas this time it's going to be difficult to mix it up with judo!

Tiistai
Feeling better today.. Despite the massive, huge and overwhelming obstacle of getting out of bed in the morning..
So, to school and back. I also finally managed to reserve the place for the BJJ-camp's sauna-evening which is coming next month.. (Had to be done by me because we can have it half-price if the reservation is done by a student at the university..;)
In addition to the normal school-and-back 4km, I managed to kick my butt outside and did some jogging/walking. For about one hour. Perfect weather: -1 celsius. Really good feeling! Nothing too stressing, It was also a good way to get to know the city a bit more. I've lived here for a few months now and haven't really been out of the 'Centrum' on foot. Well now I already know where my next route is going ; ) I have to see what there is on the end of that one road! x)

Waiting
Back in Vaasa! Holiday's over.. and I had my first lecture today: "English phonetics and pronunciation", which is quite intresting actually.. Probably it's going to be a hard course. I have to get all those phonetic markings stuffed in my head somehow... :D
I've been a bit sick for the last five days so we'll see what my body has to say about today's karate trainings.. The biggest problem might be the fact that I haven't eaten that much and I've lost a lot of fluids. I've lost almost one kilo per day. Not that it's a bad thing - There definately is something from whitch to lose - but my endurance has gotten even worse than it was and when I walked to school it almost seemed as if my leg muscles had suddenly vanished somewhere...
So.. Today should involve some blocking exercises and futari geiko.. I was thinking of doing some stretching beforehand (only 200m to the dojo - nice) and maybe that way get rid of this damn sluggishness.
This spring's - well let's say the whole year's - goal is: 1. Lose weight 2. Have an orange belt 3. Learn
something! The latter also applies to school. ;)
AAa! Nearly forgot the best part of the whole holiday! Which was that I was able to go to my old judo club's trainings again after a long time :))) (The last time was during the springholiday.) The reason why I can't go there more often is that I live 250km from there now ;( and I only visit home during some weekends when they usually have no official trainings. I had almost forgotten how much fun that sport is!!! Ecpecially when it's done in that club! No matter what but that will always be "The Judo Club" for me :) I just love those blokes.. I could just go on forever about the awesomeness of that place ;)
It's just so easy to train when you know the people so well and you actually can train. In karate it sometimes is so that I'm sort of stuck with this girl (because we are the same belt and often the only girls there) who is.. well.. not as "strongly built" ;) as myself. Just try and do a choke on someone who you constantly fear might break apart! :D Don't get me wrong! I'm not one of those who hate to train with someone. It would just be more benefitical to train with someone of your own size and mentality..

"Fuck Christmas" (?)
Come what come may,
Time and the hour runs through the roughest day.

Time and the hour runs through the roughest day.

So.. It's that time of the year again when all should be well in the world and everyone are all cheerful and happy and just crapping smileys. Well that's just shit: For the last.. 5 years(?) Christmas has been terrible for me. Lot's of pressure at home.. and I can't even get away from it. Now of course I wouldn't need to spend hours in our shed or at our heating-room to get away from all that shit. I could just leave to Vaasa. But that would destroy the rest of the holiday for everyone else - so I just have to bear with this. Again.
I'm just so tired of being disappointed every year. (And this has nothing to do with presents.) Just once in my life (so I could remember it) I would like to have a happy holiday when I would not get.. or have the reason to..get pissed off at everyone.. well not everyone..
I just had my birthday a while ago.. and it seems that everyone wrote "Happy B-day" or something on my Wall on Facebook or sent me a message somehow, exept for my two best friends! Now that raises some questions.... some of 'em not so cheerful at all. : / for a while I just couldn't believe it! And they still haven't said anything even though we have been seeing each other a lot! Well at least I know that there are still people who remember me - and have the courage to write it on facebook no matter how briefly... ;) It is always interesting to see who writes concrats on your wall.. every name brings a smile on your face and at times there are a few pleasant surprises that really brightens up my day :))
So.. Merry Christmas!! "You sentimental bastards!" ;)
